QUESTION: WHAT IS A LOW MALIGNENT POTENTIAL TUMOR?

RESPONSE: A Low Malignent Potential Tumor is a tumor of intermediate capacity to recurr and to metastasize (spread). Usually, if these tumors recurr, they recurr very late in time and usually in only one or a few sites as opposed to multiple and early metastatic disease.
